Bank Robbery: Escape Walkthrough & Strategy Guide
Welcome to the ultimate heist. In Bank Robbery: Escape, you play as a daring thief who has just cracked the vault. Now, with a bag full of cash, you must fight through waves of armed guards, dodge security lasers, and sprint for the getaway van. There’s no timer and no stress—just pure problem-solving with a trigger. This guide covers everything from basic controls and weapon selection to advanced tactics for each level. Whether you’re a first-time robber or a seasoned pro, these strategies will help you survive the final escape and make off with the loot. Let’s get started.
Basic Controls & Mechanics
Movement is handled with WASD keys. Use the mouse to look around and aim. Left Click fires your weapon, and Right Click allows you to aim down the iron sights for improved accuracy, especially useful for distant targets. Press Left Shift to sprint, which helps you cover ground quickly but drains stamina. Spacebar lets you vault over low obstacles like desks and barriers, allowing you to maintain momentum during chases.
Interacting with the environment is key: press E to open doors, pick up loot, or activate switches. You can swap weapons using the Mouse Wheel or number keys. Each weapon type has a distinct role: pistols are reliable all-rounders, shotguns devastate at close range, rifles excel at mid-to-long distances, and SMGs offer high fire rates for suppressing enemies. Keep an eye on your ammo count and swap when necessary.
Weapon Selection & Loadout Tips
Your starting weapon is a standard pistol, which is fine for the first few encounters. As you progress, you’ll find better firearms on fallen guards or in weapon caches. Always pick up a shotgun for tight corridors and rooms with multiple enemies—it can take out several guards with one blast. For open areas like the bank lobby or parking lot, a rifle with a scope gives you the edge against snipers and distant threats.
Don't neglect your secondary weapon. Keep a high-capacity SMG or a backup pistol for when your primary runs dry. Reload often, but only when safe—ideally behind cover. Use Right Click aim to land headshots, which are instant kills on most enemies. Practice flicking to targets quickly in training mode if available.
General Combat Strategy
Always check your corners before entering a room. Guards often position themselves beside doorways or behind desks, waiting to ambush. Use the peek mechanic (if available) or quickly strafe in and out to bait their fire. Sprinting into a room is risky; instead, move deliberately and listen for audio cues like footsteps or radio chatter.
When facing multiple enemies, prioritize the ones closest to you or those with shotguns (they deal heavy damage up close). Use the environment for cover—pillars, counters, and overturned furniture can block bullets. If you're low on health, retreat to a safe spot and wait for health pickups (often dropped by guards) or use medkits found in break rooms.
Level 1: The Vault & First Floor
You begin in the vault room. Grab the cash bag from the center and immediately turn left to exit. The first corridor has a single patrolling guard—take him out with a headshot to conserve ammo. Proceed to the main office area; there are two guards here, one behind a desk and one near the water cooler. Use the desk as cover and pick them off one by one.
After clearing the office, head to the stairwell. A guard may come down from above—listen for footsteps. At the top of the stairs, there's a security door that requires a keycard. Search the nearby desks; the keycard is usually on the boss's desk in the corner room. Once you have it, unlock the door and proceed to the lobby.
Level 2: The Lobby & Mezzanine
The lobby is a large open area with a high mezzanine level. Immediately take cover behind the central teller counter. Snipers on the mezzanine will fire at you—use your rifle or aim down sights to return fire. Clear the ground floor guards first, then move to the staircase on the left or right to ascend.
On the mezzanine, you'll find more guards and a few civilians (try not to shoot them, as it may alert more enemies). There's a weapon cache near the escalator—swap your pistol for a shotgun if you haven't already. From the mezzanine, you can drop down onto the main floor behind the last group of guards, catching them by surprise.
Level 3: The Parking Garage & Getaway
The final level is a multi-story parking garage. Your goal is to reach the ground floor where the getaway van is waiting. However, the garage is swarming with guards and has several security lasers. Use the pillars and cars for cover. Vault over low walls to take shortcuts.
Beware of laser tripwires—they trigger an alarm that summons extra guards. To disable them, look for control panels (small boxes on walls) and press E to deactivate. Alternatively, you can crawl under some lasers (crouch if available) or jump over others. The van is at the far end of the ground floor; once you reach it, press E to enter and escape. Watch out for a final ambush from two guards hiding behind a van near the exit.
Advanced Tips & Tricks
Use sprint sparingly; it recharges slowly. Save it for crossing open areas or closing distance to melee (if melee is an option). Melee attacks (use V key) can silently take down unaware guards, but it's risky. Alternatively, you can use the environment: shoot explosive barrels near groups of enemies to clear them out quickly.
Headshots are your best friend. Practice aiming at head level as you round corners. Also, remember that you can shoot through some thin materials like drywall or wooden crates. If you see a guard behind a partition, fire a few rounds through it. Finally, always keep moving—standing still makes you an easy target. Strafe left and right while shooting to throw off enemy aim.
